Galion Port can also offer economic development financing products that government organizations cannot.

The mission of the Galion Port Authority is to enhance, foster, aid, provide or promote transportation, economic development, housing, recreation, education, governmental operations, culture and research in the City of Galion.  Galion Port is also tasked with creating and/or preserving jobs and employment opportunities and enhancing the availability of adequate housing.
